HOW I BUILD IT
Understand the problem
I start from the decision the dashboard has to make possible. Not from the list of charts somebody would like to have.
Define the perimeter
We pick the priority indicators, the sources worth trusting, and how often they need refreshing.
Build
I connect the sources and build the interface with filters and export. I handle empty states and missing data.
Make it maintainable
I document what each indicator shows and where it comes from. So the dashboard still makes sense when I am not around.
WHAT IT IS NOT
It is not a set of well-dressed charts. If an indicator helps nobody decide anything, it does not go in.

QUESTIONS
- How many data sources can you connect?
- It depends how they are built: a hand-made export is not an API with authentication. More sources, more roles or more exceptions push the investment towards the advanced band.
- Does it need maintenance?
- If it depends on recurring data or an external API, yes: at least light monitoring. Support and further work are quoted separately.
- How long does it take?
- Usually 2 to 6 weeks. The variable is how clean and reachable the starting data sources are.
